About the Artist: Arieh El-Hanani - Born in Russia (Ukraine) (1898-1985) - Architect and Graphicist, Winner of the Israel Prize for Architecture 1973.
The Levant Fair in Tel Aviv Port and the Ganei HaTaarucha (Exhibition Gardens) on Rokach Boulevard are two of his most prominent works.
In a sign taken in 2019 at Nemal Tel Aviv St 12, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel shows a plaza named after him, with the inscription:
Arieh el-Hanani plaza / 1898-1985 / Israel Prize-winning architect, "Levant Fair" planner / ARIEH EL-HANANI plaza.

About the Sculpture : A sculpture featuring a laborer carrying a construction beam was originally made of iron, in 1989 the statue was restored and now made of concrete and steel.
