הסראייה החדשה السرايا الجديدة The New Saraya

בית הסראייה שימש כבית המושל וכבית הממשל התורכי. המבנה נכנך בשנת 1897 כחלק מהקמת קריית השלטון החדשה מחוץ לחומות העיר העתיקה של יפו. המבנה תוכנן על ידי המהנדס ברוך פפרמייסטר, מאיכרי המושבה ראשון לציון וראש הועד שלה במשך שנים רבות. ביום 4 בינואר 1948 פוצץ הבנין על ידי אנשי הלח"י, ושרד ממנו רק בית המושל וחלק קטן מבית הממשל. מבנה בית המושל עבר שיפוץ וחזיתו שוחזרה לרבות שחזור עמודי בית הממשל.

بين السرايا كان بين الحاكم ومبنى الحكم العثماني . تم افتتاح المبنى في العام ١٨٩٧ كجزء من إقامة المجمع الحكومي الجديد خارج أسوار البلدة القديمة في يافا . المبنى من تخطيط المهندس باروخ بابرمبستر . من فلاحي بلدة ريشون لتصيون ورئيس لجنتها لسنوات طويلة . بتاريخ ٤ كانون الثاني (بنابر) ١٩٤٨ فجرت مجموعة من اللبحي المبنى ، فبفي منه بين الحاكم وجزء صغير من مبنى الحكم فقط . تم ترميم مبني بيت الحاكم وإعادة بناء واجهنه بالإضافة إلى إعادة بناء أعمدة مبنى الحكم

Saraya House was the residence of the Turkish governor and also served as the Turkish government building. It was inaugurated in 1897 as part of the new government complex constructed outside the walls of the ancient city of Jaffa. It was planned by the engineer Baruch Pepermeister, a farmer from the Rishon Le-Zion colony and the head of its local committee for many years. On January 4, 1948, the building was blown up by members of the Lehi. Only the governor’s residence and a small section of the government building survived the blast. The governors residence underwent renovation and its façade was restored, including restoration of the government building’s pillars.
