" हुमायूँ का मकबरा ” विश्व की सांस्कृतिक एवं प्राकृतिक धरोहर के संरक्षणार्थ कन्वेन्शन द्वारा विश्वदाय सूची में नामांकित किया गया है । कोई भी ऐसा स्मारक वा प्राकृतिक स्थल जो मानवता के लाभार्या संरक्षण के योग्य समझा गया हो का विश्वदाय सूची में नामांकन उस विशिष्ट सायनजिक महत्व की पुष्टि करता है।

HUMAYUNS TOMB HAS BEEN INSCRIBED ON THE WORLD HERITAGE LIST OF THE CONVENTION CONCERNING THE PROTECTION OF THE WORLD CULTURAL AND NATURAL HERITAGE. INSCRIPTION ON THIS LIST CONFIRMS THE EXCEPTIONAL UNIVERSAL VALUE OF A CULTURAL OR NATURAL 5ITE WHICH DESERVES POTECTICN FOR THE BENERIOF OF ALL HUMANITY
