פאני ולוליק פיינברג

בית פיינברג
בית משפחת המייסדים פאני ולוליק פיינברג.
נבנה בשלבים בשנים 1885-1886.

הבית הוא מטיפוס הבתים הגדולים במושבה, בעל שלושה אגפי מגורים ומרתף, מדרום לבית, מבנה האורוות והשקות.

ישראל פיינברג, מהמתנחלים הראשונים בחדרה, היה אחד מארבעת השומרים הראשונים אשר שלח יהושוע חנקין, גואל האדמות, על מנת להפגין בעלות על הנחלה שנרכשה בשנת תר"ן 1890.
ישראל (לוליק) פיינברג נפטר ממחלת המלריה בשנת 1911.

בבית זה גדל אבשלום פיינברג, ממקימי מחתרת ניל"י במלחמת העולם הראשונה. אבשלום נרצח בסיני ב-1917, במסגרת פעילותו זו.

אנדרטת אבשלום ניצבת היום בפארק נחל חדרה.
עצמותיו של אבשלום נמצאו במדבר סיני בשנת 1967 ודקל צמח מגרעין עץ התמר אשר היה בכיסו. חוטר מדקל זה נשתל מימין לכניסה לבית בתום עבודות השימור אשר בוצעו ב-2008.
הקומה השניה, אשר היתה מעל האגף הצפוני, נשרפה בפרעות הערבים ב-1921 ולא שוחזרה במסגרת עבודות השימור.

בחצר הבית (היום בית הקפה) גידלה פאני פיינברג אירוסים.
גינה זו נקראה בפיה "הגניק". בביקור הברון רוטשילד בארץ ב-1914 עצר הברון ליד הבית (בית פיינברג) ואבשלום פיינברג הגיש לו אירוס מגינת הבית. "הברון רצה פקעות וקיבל מלוא הדלי. גם לאמא היתה הזמדנות לדבר עם הברון, הוא לחץ את ידה והודה לה מספר פעמים".

Fanny and Lolik Feinberg

Feinberg House
The family home of the founders Fanny and Lolik Feinberg.
Built in stages in the years 1885-1886.

The house is of the type of the largest houses in the colony, with three living wings and a basement, to the south of the house, the stable structure and the trough.

Israel Feinberg, one of the first settlers in Hadera, was one of the first four guards sent by Yehoshua Hankin, the savior of the lands, in order to demonstrate ownership of the land purchased in 1890.
Israel (Lolik) Feinberg died of malaria in 1911.

Avshalom Feinberg, one of the founders of the Nili underground in World War I, grew up in this house. Avshalom was murdered in Sinai in 1917, as part of this activity.

The Avshalom monument stands today in Nahal Hadera Park.
Avshalom’s bones were found in the Sinai Desert in 1967 and a palm plant from the palm tree kernel that was in his pocket. This palm tree was planted to the right of the entrance to the house at the end of the conservation work that was carried out in 2008.
The second floor, which was above the northern wing, burned down during the Arab riots of 1921 and was not restored as part of the conservation work.

In the yard of the house (today the cafe) Fanny Feinberg grew irises.
This garden was called "Hagnik" by her. During Baron Rothschild’s visit to Israel in 1914, the Baron stopped by the house (Feinberg House) and Avshalom Feinberg handed him an iris from the house garden. "The Baron wanted tubers and got the full bucket. The mother also had the opportunity to talk to the Baron. He shook her hand and thanked her several times."
