קיבוץ משלט נווה אילן
"קיבוץ משלט" נווה אילן נוסד באוקטובר 1946, במסגרת התיישבות חקלאית-ביטחונית. הקיבוץ הוקם על ידי 31 חלוצים מצרפת, יוצאי המחתרת האנטי-נאצית "מאקי". הקרקע נרכשה על ידי קק"ל בתקופת "הספר הלבן".
בשנים 1947-48 שימש היישוב בסיס חשוב ללוחמים שנלחמו על הדרך לירושלים. גם חברי הקיבוץ השתתפו במלחמה הזאת.
בשנת 1956, בשל משבר חברתי, התפזרו החברים והמקום נעזב.

NEVE ILAN KIBBUTZ OUTPOST
Neve Ilan Kibbutz Outpost was established in October 1946 as part of the agricultural-security settlement endeavor. The kibbutz was founded by 31 pioneers from France, veterans of the anti-Nazi Maquis resistance. The land was purchased by the JNF during the so-called White Paper period.
In 1947-48 the kibbutz served as an important base for the fighters struggling to regain control over the road to Jerusalem. Kibbutz members also took part in this war. In 1956, due to a societal crisis, the members scattered and the site was abandoned.
The Society for Preservation of Israel Heritage Sites is performing restoration work at the site.

The sign shape is square but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
