The fort
The Crusader fortress at the summit of Titura was built between the years 1099-1260, and it was the hill that gave the hill its Arabic name al-Burj, which means ’the fortress’.

Did you know ?!
With the help of the fortresses, the Crusaders guarded the road to Jerusalem, and their construction is usually the same: on the top of the hill is a square courtyard surrounded by a wall and in the center is a square two-story tower. An eastern staircase led to the upper floor.
