Noa’s sign language
Why does everyone know what day it is every day and only I am always wrong? Noa asked and thought: I need a sign.
And when Mother braided her braids, Noa had an idea: Braids would be the mark.
and so it was.
Every morning Noa woke up and by the number of her braids she knew what day it was. One braid on Sunday, two braids on Monday, three braids on Tuesday, four on Wednesday, five on Thursday, six on Friday. And on Saturday, seven braids tied in colored ribbons adorned her head.
A week passed and another week, and one morning Noa woke up and found no braid but just wild hair.
What will happen now?

Nira Harel
