Israel’s most common tree. Over 230 million have been planted so far, by donations from all around the world. Rarely has any one tree type so changed a country’s landscape.

[The Answer to the question]
Eight Aleppo pines partly surround the nearby domed building. As you face these, six Canary Islands pines are behind you, along the stone wall; several umbrella pines are on your right, behind a narrow, sharply pointed cypress tree. Tree No. 1 in the Mac and Tibby Podel Discovery Tree Walk, located on the Edmond J. Safra Campus of the Hebrew University of Givat Ram.

Each tree is accompanied by a cube with details on the tree. On the top of which is the text:
