Although this plaque was usually placed on artists’ homes, the Tel Aviv municipality decided that Dr. Feldenkrais was also entitled to the same format

The sign is on the wall of the house where Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais lived - inventor of the Feldenkrais exercise method, born Slavuta, Ukraine (1904-1984), immigrated to Israel in 1918.
In Israel, he became interested in martial arts, in particular judo and ju-jitsu, at the same time he completed studies for a master’s degree in physics, and even acquired a doctorate in physics at the University of Paris.
After specializing in Judo, he began to teach gymnastics methods that he developed himself, which tries to impart maximum movement with minimum effort.
