About the Sculpture: The statue is located on Pillbox Hill, dedicated to the fighters of the War of Independence. The artist decided to design a sculpture that resembles ancient war tools (flint), which when they stand on the ground gives a picture similar to an avenue of trees. The name of the statue is based on the verse "they shall beat their swords into plowshares" (Isaiah 2: 4)
