Comments:
Point in the "Glory Track" - a track launched in 2001 and dedicated to composers, conductors, musicians and opera singers, all in the field of classical music.
The route, which had about 100 plaques, is currently in the process of dismantling (as of 2022), due to the low interest and the high cost of preserving the plaques.
(This can be seen in the current plaque, the circle above the composer’s name previously contained an engraving of his face, but over time the engraving disappeared and was not renewed).

The current plaque is dedicated to the German composer Richard Strauss, a well-known composer who was also an honorary citizen of Vienna.
