Translation of the text on the sign:

Silo
The silo was established in the summer of 1943 as a silo for the grain kernels harvested in the kibbutz fields (final casting on 18.8.43), the silo plaza was used to dry the kernels. During periods when there was a nuclear-free expansion, holiday events and parties were held there.
In the summer of 1967, with the establishment of "Matmor", the silo closed. The Mizra continued to absorb the kibbutz’s grain for another year.
It was later converted into a shop for the sale of decorative objects, later into a gallery and later into the factory shop of "Kafri".
Thanks to its special shape, the silo has become a symbol of Kfar Menachem and can be seen as a logo on kibbutz documents.
