LE CORBUSIER, MODULOR. 1946

Entin Square is at the entrance gate to the Tel Aviv University campus in Ramat Aviv.

The square is studded with cobblestones with quotes, sayings, illustrations or formulas of the great scientists, thinkers and writers.

In the current plate there is an illustration of the Swiss architect Le Corbusier (1887-1965), the architect whose real name is Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, is considered one of the most important architects in history (17 buildings he designed are recognized as world heritage sites).
On the pavement appears the "Modulor" diagram which, like Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, measured the human limbs, and calculated the golden ratio between the limbs which he believed to be the perfect relationships to be used in the design of buildings.

Three months earlier, the tiles were photographed in the same square. During the photograph, it was discovered that a number of tiles had been removed and replaced by other tiles. The current tile replaced another tile
