Yehoshua Bertonov - theater actor, born in Vilnius, Lithuania (1879-1971), immigrated to Israel in 1928.
Before immigrating to Israel, he played in the Vilniustheater, and later he was one of the founders of the "Habima" theater in Moscow, and immigrated to Israel with his actors.
Played in the "Habima" theater in many plays.
Won the Israel Prize for Theater (1959).

Deborah Bertonov - dancer, choreographer and dance researcher, born in Tbilisi, Georgia (1915-2010), immigrated to Israel in 1928 with her family (her father is Yehoshua Bertonov)
Starred in dance shows around the world, founded a dance school in Israel
Won the Israel Prize for Dance (1991)

Shlomo Bertonov - radio announcer, theater history researcher, born in Moscow, Russia (1925-1977), immigrated to Israel in 1928 with his family (his father is Yehoshua Bertonov )
The mythological narrator of "Today’s Chapters in the Bible", a daily episode that was broadcast on Kol Yerushalayim and later on Kol Israel.

The house they lived in was part of the workers’ dormitories, buildings built at the initiative of the Histadrut, built in the international style and inhabited by Histadrut activists and artists. The area was also called the "Habima neighborhood" because of the large number of actors who lived in the area.

Today, the building houses "Beit Livik", a center for Yiddish culture.
