Architect

Born in Heilbronn, Germany (1845-1902), he came to Israel in 1871.
From 1863 to 1866 he studied architecture at the Stuttgart Technical High School. A man from the Templar colony in Jaffa and Jerusalem. During his stay in Jaffa he was involved in the planning of the Sarona colony. In 1880 he moved to Jerusalem, where he designed many buildings, including the Shaare Zedek Hospital, the Lemmel School, the German Hospital and more.
In 1899 he was awarded with the "Royal Construction Consultant" title by Emperor Wilhelm II.
