orn in Ukraine (1878-1935), immigrated to Israel in 1922. He designed many houses in Tel Aviv, including public buildings such as Hadassah Hospital (Balfour Street), the first school in the city on Ehad Ha’am Street , Expansion of the Dizengoff House
and more.
Hershkovitz was the second city engineer of the city of Tel Aviv.
