The sign is on the inner wall of the house where Shlomo Nitzan lived - writer and translator, born in Liepāja, Latvia (1921-2006), immigrated to Israel in 1932.
Wrote books for children and adults. He was the editor of the children’s newspaper "Al Hashemhar".
He won the Brenner Prize (1973) and the Prime Minister’s Prize for Hebrew Writers (1984).
