The sign is placed in the house where Mordechai Seter lived - composer, born in Novorossiysk, Russia (1916-1994), immigrated to Israel in 1926.
After studying music in Israel, he went to study music in Paris for 5 years. He created music for choirs and instrumental ensembles. He also taught at the Music Academy in Tel Aviv.
His most famous work is the oratorio "Midnight Vigil" for which he won many awards.
Winner of the Israel Prize (1965), the Acum Lifetime Achievement Award (1983) and other awards.
