ההסתדרות החדשה
שנת 1994 עברה ההסתדרות שינוי מבני ושינתה את שמה ל "ההסתדרות החדשה". חלק מהגופים בבעלותה עברו הליך של הפרטה וקופת החולים הכללית הופרדה מההסתדרות.

ליבת פעילותה של ההסתדרות הופנתה לנושאי האיגוד המקצועי והיא המשיכה לבסס את מעמדה כארגון העובדים הגדול והמשפיע במדינה.

The new Histadrut
In 1994, the Histadrut underwent a structural change and changed its name to the "New Histadrut." Some of the bodies owned by it underwent a privatization process and the General Health Fund was separated from the Histadrut.

The core activity of the Histadrut was directed at the issues of the trade union and it continued to establish its status as the largest and most influential workers’ organization in the country.
