חתן פרס נובל לכימיה לשנת 2013 על פיתוח מודלים ממוחשבים (MULTISCALE MODELING) להבנת מערכות כימיות מורכבות.

NOBEL LAUREATE IN CHEMISTRY IN 2013 FOR THE "DEVELORMENT OF COMPUTER MODELS (MULTISCALE MODELING( TO UNDERSTAND COMPLEX CHEMICAL SYSTEMS."

Error It seems that the municipality of Rishon Lezion has done above and beyond associating Nobel Prizes with Israel. Michael Levitt did live in Israel for a while, and even served as a professor at the Weizmann Institute, but since 1986 he has lived in the United States.
