The tiles carpet is a tribute to the
"Half a Million Flowers Carpet"
which was placed in Rabin Square during the city’s Centennial, a gift of the city of Brussels to Tel Aviv - Yafo in honor of its 100th anniversary.
The carpet is made up of samples of tiles that were used to floor the homes of the first residents and our city.

In the center of the two short edges of the sides of the carpet appears the emblem of the city of Tel Aviv, and in the long ones the emblem of the centenary celebrations of the city of Tel Aviv.
