Comments:
The sign is on the wall of the house where Menashe Levin - writer, translator and poet - lived. Born in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland (1903-1981), immigrated to Israel in 1925.
In his books he described the city of Tel Aviv as he knew it. He is also known as a translator of many works mainly from French to Hebrew.
Won the Tschernihovsky Prize for translation (1951, 1956).
