פטאנק הוא משחק כדור ברזל שמקורו בצרפת, המשלב טקטיקה, יכולת חשיבה וקואורדינציה. השחקנים מתחלקים לשתי קבוצות, במתכונת של אחד מול אחד, זוג נגד זוג או שלשה נגד שלשה.

מטרת המשחק:
1. שחקן מקבוצה מטיל כדור ברזל במטרה להתקרב ככל האפשר ל"קושונה" - כדור המטרה.
2. בתום ההטלות מונים את הכדורים של הקבוצה שהצליחה למקם את כדוריה כך, שהקדימו כל כדור של הקבוצה היריבה.
3. כל כדור כזה ערכו נקודה אחת.
4. הקבוצה שהקדימה לצבור 13 נקודות, זוכה בניצחון במשחק כולו.

כללי התנהגות במגרש:
1. יש להצטייד בכדורי המשחק (3 כדורים).
2. יש להגיע בבגדי ספורט ונעליים נוחות.
3. ניתן לשחק באופן חופשי.
4. יש להישמע להוראות האחראי במגרש.

Petanque is an iron ball game originating in France that combines tactics, thinking ability and coordination. The players are divided into two teams, in a one-on-one format, pair against pair or three against three.
