Comments:
The sign is on the wall of the house where Meir Teomi (Timan) lived - a theater actor, born in Mykolaiv, Ukraine (1898-1947), immigrated to Israel in 1919, after already studying in Tel Aviv in 1913-1915 at the Herzliya Gymnasium.
One of the pioneers of Hebrew theater in the Land of Israel, he played and directed many plays. Teomi was also a impresario, and a partner in a impresarios firm.
Teomi was murdered while on stage in a cafe by Arabs from Sheikh Munis.
