Comments:
The sign is on the wall of the house where Esther Raab lived - poet, writer and translator, born in Petah Tikva, Israel (1894-1981).
Esther was the first well-known poet born in the Land of Israel and was indeed called "the first Sabra poet".
Esther Raab lived in this house until between 1948-1955 and then returned to her hometown - Petah Tikva.
She won the Kugel prize on behalf of the municipality of Holon for a book of poems she wrote (1964)
