This is a British-made tank from World War II. It entered service in 1944, in the Battle of Normandy, and remained in service until it was replaced by the Centurion tank. After WWII, it took part in the Korean War and was of service to the British army all around the world and under the British mandate in Palestine. This is one of the two Cromwell tanks stolen by British Sergeants Mike Flanagan and Harry McDonald, during the 1948 War of Independence, and brought into the IDF - The emblem of the Armored Corps was inspired by this tank.
