בית משפחת אביכזיר בית אביכזיר נבנה בשנת 1923 על פי תכנון של האדריכל א. באלוג ודומה מאוד לבית הסמוך ברחוב אריאל 8, כולל החזית בעלת הגמלון והעמודים הקלאסיים, דיירו החשוב ביותר של הבית היה הרב אברהם אביכזיר, נשיא של קהילת המערביים (מוגרבים) בירושלים, שכיהן קודם לכן כאב בית הדין התורני באלכסנדריה. לאחר פרישתו בשנת 1927 עלה הרב ארצה, וכנראה הקהילה באלכסנדריה היא זאת אשר רכשה עבורו את הבית ברוממה. החל משנת 1936 כיהן הרב אביכזיר כחבר מועצת הרבנות הראשית. מרתף הבית שימש זמן מה כבית כנסת, ובשלב מאוחר יותר, לפחות עד שנות ה-60 של המאה העשרים, פעל בית הכנסת בקומה העליונה.
بيت عائلة أبيكزير أقيم البيت عام ۱۹۲۳ وفقا لتصميم المهندس المعماري أ. بالوغ مع الأعمدة الكلاسيكية والقوس في الواجهة. أهم الأشخاص الذين سكنوا فيه كان الحاخام أبراهام أبيكزير، الذي وصل البلاد عام ۱۹۲۷ وصار الرئيس الفخري لطائفة المغربيين في القدس بعد أن كان قبل ذلك رئيس المحكمة بعد اليهودية الدينية في إسكندرية. منذ عام ١٩٣٦ كان عضوا في مجلس الحاخامت الأكبر.

ABIKAZIR HOUSE Built in 1923 in a similar style as the neighboring house on number 8, with the gable and classic columns, according to the design of architect A. Balog. The most Important occupant of the house was Rabbi Abraham Abikazir, who immigrated from Alexandria, where we he served as the chief judge of the Jewish religious court. In Jerusalem he was honorary president of the Jerusalem Moroccan Jewish.
The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
