"Strawberry Fields" is a memorial in Central Park in New York City, dedicated to John Lennon, the Beatles’ man, who was murdered on December 8, 1980, in front of his home in the Dakota building opposite this place. The name is taken from the song written by Lennon and McCartney, Strawberry Fields Forever.
