Comments:
The monument, made by Jochen Kitzbihler in 2003 and located in a pedestrian area in a shopping center, commemorates the more than 2,000 Jewish residents of Mannheim who were deported and murdered by the Nazis.
The names of the victims appear on the sides of the glass cube.
At night, the cube is illuminated.
