החל את דרכו המוזיקלית בגיל 15, וזכה לפרסום עוד בטרם גויס. בחר לשרת בלהקת פיקוד צפון. תוך כדי שירותו הצבאי ולאחר שחרורו טיפח קריירת סולו מרובת להיטים, ובשנות השבעים וראשית שנות השמונים שיחק בסרטי קולנוע.

Born in Rishon LeZion. Raised in the Nahalat Yehuda neighborhood. Singer and actor. Winner of the 2016 ACUM Award for Lifetime Achievement.
He began his musical career at the age of 15, and gained fame even before he was drafted. He chose to serve in the Northern Command Band. During his military service and after his release, he cultivated a solo career with many hits, and in the 1970s and early 1980s he acted in films.
In 1981, he released his first album "Sivan". That same year, he also gave expression to another love of his - Hapoel Tel Aviv, and performed together with Yitzhak Klefter and Hanan Yuval the championship song "The Red Devils" written by Eli Mohar and composed by Yitzhak Klepter.
