The English Heritage Trust is a charity that cares for over 400 historical buildings, monuments and other places.
The sign is on the wall of the house where the politician and Liberal Party leader Lady Violet Bonham Carter (1887-1969) lived. She also has diaries in which she describes the period of office of the British Prime Minister Herbert Henry Asquith, who was her father. The sign was placed in 1994.
