Aryeh Leib and Ita Grushkevice House One of the first houses in Kiryat Motzkin, the house was built to the design of the architectural firm of David Laskov and Mordechai Givoni, Haifa.
Its construction began in 1935 and was completed in 1938.
Aryeh Leib Grushkevice (1897-1960), served as the first elected head of the council between 1958-1941. While the owners were still alive, the house was donated for public purposes.
In 1962, the building was expanded according to the plan of architect Shraga Frederick Rohatyn, Haifa.
In the years 1993-1965, the building served as a public library, and in the years 1993-1991 as a historical archive.
Since 2006, the house has served as a hostel for the archive and the historical museum of the history of the city of Kiryat Motzkin - "Grushkevice House".
