WELKOM IN HISTORISCH DELFSHAVEN
Vòòr de annexatie van, de toenmalige zelfstandige gemeente, Delfshaven door Rotterdam in 1886, droeg de Voorhaven de naam Oudehaven. Aangezien die laatste ook al in Rotterdam voorkwam onderging de haven hier dus een naamsverandering. De naam Voorstraat die daarop aansluit was al voor 1886 in gebruik.

Before the annexation of the then independent municipality of Delfshaven, by the city of Rotterdam in 1886, the Voorhaven (Front Harbour) was called Old Harbour. As Old Harbour was also in use in Rotterdam the harbour underwent a name change. The name Voorstraat (Front Street) is linked to the Voorhaven and was already in use before 1886.
