On the current sign, Boaz Sharabi in the uniform of the Shimshon Tel Aviv team

Translation of the text on the sign:

Boaz Sharabi (b. 1947)
Shimshon Tel Aviv, 1985/86

Born in Tel Aviv. He began his musical career as a drummer in rhythm bands, and later as a vocalist. He is one of the musicians who are cornerstones of Israeli music, and is responsible for many hits that changed the face of our culture, including "Pamela", "Halwai", "Mi Yade Sh’achach Y’hay", "Kshe’at Noga’at Bi" and more.

As befits a native of the Kerem, Boaz Sharabi is a fan of Shimshon Tel Aviv. In the 1985/86 season, in the State Cup final against Beitar Jerusalem, when Shimshon reached one of its highest moments and Boaz was at the height of his fame, he chose to cheer on the team from the fans’ stands rather than the honor stand to which he was invited, and even returned to the origins as a drummer.
