The sign is on the wall of the house where they lived: Itamar Yaoz-Kest - poet and translator, founder of the "Eked" publishing house (1934-2021) Itamar, who was born in Hungary, immigrated to Israel in 1951. During the Holocaust, he was in a concentration camp, so the Holocaust took a place in his work. Served for 3 years as president of the Hebrew Writers Association in Israel. Won the Prime Ministers Prize for Hebrew Writers, the Minister of Education Prize and other awards. He was married to Hana Yaoz .
Professor Hana Yaoz - literary researcher (1935-2014) Born in Tel Aviv. Engaged in Holocaust research and won several awards, including the Yad Vashem Prize. She was married to Itamar Yauz-Kest
