The victims of the Egyptian bombing of Rishon LeZion during the War of Independence 25 Iyar 5708 — June 3, 1948 On this day, at 11:15 a.m., Egyptian planes bombed Rothschild Street and the intersection of Ein HaKore and Mohaliver Streets. In this bombing, twenty-five residents of Rishon LeZion were killed.
