The route marks historical points in the city of Bath. Each plaque has an arrow indicating the direction to the next plaque.
The plaques have quotes from poets and thinkers associated with Bath, or those indicating themes related to the city.

The current plaque marks Bath Abbey - an Anglican church built in the 16th century. It is one of the best-known examples of Gothic churches in Britain. Before that, the site was a Benedictine monastery, hence its name. Click for sign's details
As well as the area of narrow alleys next to it - Abbey Green and Guildhall a place built in 1778 to serve as a meeting place for members of the merchant guilds. Today the building is used by Bath and North East Somerset City Council Click for sign's details.

The quote is from the famous writer Daniel Defoe (1660-1731) who wrote "Robinson Crusoe"
