מערכת שאיבת המים התעשייתית נועדה לשרת את תהליך הייצור בבית החרושת. חלקים מהמערכת יובאו מגרמניה והותקנו במקום בין השנים 1910-1906. משאבת הבוכנה המחוברת למנוע נפט שאבה מים ממאגר תת-קרקעי סמוך באמצעות צינור, אל בריכת אגירה בקומה השנייה של בית החרושת.

يهدف نظام ضخ المياه الصناعية لخدمة عملية الإنتاج في المعمل. تم استيراد قطع المضخة من ألمانيا وتم تركيبها في المكان بين ١٩١٠ كانت مضخة المكبس الموصولة بمحرك الأعوام ١٩.٦ يعمل بالكاز تضخ المياه بواسطة أنبوب من مجمع مياه تحت أرضي قريب إلى بركة تجميع مياه في الطابق الثاني من المعمل.

The industrial water pump was used in the manufacturing process. Parts of the pump were imported from Germany and installed between the years 1906-1910. Water from an underground reservoir was pumped out by a kerosene pump, piped up and collected in a basin on the second floor of the factory.

Comments:

The sign is located where the "Jaffa Railway Station" was - a station that operated between 1892-1948, serving the Jaffa - Jerusalem line, and was the first railway station to be built in the Middle East after stations built in Egypt and Turkey.
