במלון הווארד המפואר שניצב כאן, שכנו מ- 1908 מוסדות של התנועה הציונית והישוב היהודי. בהם גם המשרד הארצישראלי של ההסתדרות הציונית, בניהולו של ד"ר ארתור רופין, וחברת גאולה, שעסקה ברכישת קרקעות, בניהולו של מאיר דיזנגוף. במקום שכן גם בית משפט השלום העברי הראשון, שדן בסכסוכים בין אנשי היישוב היהודי.

From 1908 on, Howard’s Hotel, hosted institutions of the Zionist Movement and the organized Jewish community-including the Zionist Organization’s Palestine Office, run by Dr. Arthur Ruppin, and the Geula Society for Land Acquisition, managed by Meir Dizengoff. Also here was the first Hebrew Magistrate’s Court, which adjudicated disputes between members of the Jewish community.

كان فندق هوارد الفخم مقرا لمؤسسات الحركة الصهيونية واليشوف اليهودي منذ سنة 1908. من هذه المؤسسات مكتب النقابة الصهيونية في البلاد، بإدارة د. أرتور روبين شركة جؤولا، التي كانت وظيفتها شراء الأراضي. بإدارة منير ديزنغوف. كما كانت تقع هنا محكمة الصلح العبرية الأولى، التي كانت تعالج النزاعات بين أفراد اليشوف اليهودي.

The sign is rectangular, and at its top there is a circle containing the name of the trail and an image representing the current station.
The current circle shows the entrance to the Howard Hotel, where you can also see the inscription "Peace be upon Israel" (שלום על ישראל) above the entrance Click for a larger image

The trail depicts the route of the pilgrims who came to the Land of Israel starting in the 18th century, beginning with their arrival at the Port of Jaffa and continuing through the various points along their way.

The current stop marks the Howard Hotel, a luxury hotel that housed institutions of the Jewish community (Yishuv).
