On some of the electrical cabinets in Giv‘atayim there are illustrations depicting figures, places, and events from the city’s history. This is especially common in the Borochov neighborhood, where its history can be found on the electrical cabinets.

The current cabinet depicts the person after whom the Borochov neighborhood is named: Dov Bar Borochov (1881-1917), one of the fathers of socialist Zionism, one of the founders of the "Poalei Zion" party (a socialist Zionist party).
