A version of the "Yizkor" prayer in memory of the fallen of the Israel Defense Forces.
The "Yizkor" prayer is usually recited in synagogues on the anniversary of a persons death.
This version of the Yizkor prayer was first written during the War of Independence and is based on the eulogy delivered by Berl Katznelson in 1920 after the events of Tel Hai. The prayer has been updated several times (including the addition of victims of terrorist attacks and more).
This Yizkor prayer is recited on Memorial Days and at ceremonies in military cemeteries in memory of the fallen.
The sign is located at the entrance to the military cemetery in Rehovot.
The entrance to the cemetery was photographed on the same day by the same photographer

Yizkor
May the Nation of Israel remember its sons and daughters, the faithful and the brave, the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces, and all the fighters of the underground and the combat units in the nation’s campaigns, and all the members of the intelligence, security, police, and prison services who risked their lives in the war for the rebirth of Israel, and all those who were murdered in the land and abroad by assassins from terrorist organizations.
May Israel remember them and be blessed with their offspring, and may it mourn the splendor of youth, the charm of valor, the sanctity of will, and the devotion of those who sacrificed their lives in the heavy battle.
May the fallen of Israel’s battles, crowned with victory, be sealed in the heart of Israel for all generations.
