Comments:
On some of the electrical cabinets in Giv‘atayim there are illustrations depicting figures, places, and events from the city’s history. This is especially common in the Borochov neighborhood, where its history can be found on the electrical cabinets.

On the current panel is depicted the Aldema arms cache, which was the first weapons storage of the “Haganah” organization, dug beneath the hut of Avraham Aldema in 1923.

The cache itself is designated as a heritage site in Israel Click for sign's details and also appears on the “Rishonim Route” of Borochov neighborhood Click for sign's details. It is located not far from the site of the electric cabinet.

Translation of the text on the sign:
The Aldema arms cache was the first Slick built by the Haganah.
