Comments:
At this site stood London’s first coffee house, established by Pasqua Rosée, the Greek servant of an English merchant of the Levant Company, whom he had met in Turkey. The name of the coffee house was apparently “Pasqua Rosée’s Head” (as stated on the sign), or “The Turkish Head”.
