One of the bronze plaques erected on Park Ave in Manhattan by artist Greg Le Fabre and depicting historic buildings in the area. The plaques were laid in 1996

The building is named after Frederick Fillmore French, a real estate developer who also initiated the construction of this building. The building has 38 floors.

The building is on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States.
