Emblem of Moshav Herut

Moshav Secretariat House
This house was built in 1938 as the residence of one of the founding families. Despite the change of designation, the appearance of a typical residence as it was in Moshav Herut in its early years has been preserved here.
After being abandoned by its owner, the structure underwent several alterations. For example, in one room there was an incubator, and in the kitchen was the public library. During the War of Independence the house was used as a residence for the stand-by platoon, and later as a residence for homeless public servants. At one time this house had the only telephone in the Moshav.

From 1944 until today, the moshav secretariat has been here.
