The cold store
The cold store was built in 1943 to serve as a cold store for agricultural produce (mainly potatoes and summer fruits).
Its special shape characterized the construction method of cold stores at that time. Its walls are particularly thick, and cooling systems have been installed in its ceiling.
The first dairy in the moshav was moved to the cold store, where the milk was collected from the farms and kept refrigerated until shipment.
With the strengthening of the poultry industry in the moshav, in the late 1960s, the building was converted and served until 2008 as a warehouse for collecting eggs from farms.
