בית המושל – מוזאון הנגב לאמנות
העיר העתיקה בבאר-שבע הוקמה בשנת 1900 בידי השלטון העות’מאני כעיר מחוז מרכזית. מבנה זה הוקם בשנת 1906 כמשכנו של מושל באר-שבע בימי העות׳מאנים, ושימש למגוריו ולאירועים מיוחדים. לאחר מלחמת העולם הראשונה שכן במבנה המושל הבריטי, ובשנת 1923 נערכה בחצר קבלת פנים מיוחדת לכבוד ביקור הנציב העליון הבריטי הרברט סמואל.
משנת 1948 שימש המבנה את צה"ל עד שהוסב לבית עיריית באר-שבע עם הקמתה בשנת 1950. דוד טוביהו היה לראש העירייה הראשון של באר–שבע העברית, שמנתה עם ייסודה 1,800 תושבים. כיום משמש המבנה כ’מוזאון הנגב לאמנות’, מוזאון האמנות המרכזי בדרום המציג תערוכות מתחלפות.

The Governor’s House Negev Museum of Art
Built in 1906 as Be’er-Sheva’s Ottoman Governor’s residence and for special events, after WWI, it served the British Governor in the same capacities. A formal reception for High Commissioner Herbert Samuel was held in the courtyard during his 1923 visit.
Israel Defense Forces used the building from 1948 until 1950, when David Tuviyahu was appointed the first Mayor of Israeli Be’er-Sheva (with 1,800 residents). The building then became City Hall.
Today, it is the "Negev Museum of Art", the main art museum of southern Israel. housing changing exhibits and workshops.
