The house was built in the 1870s by Gottlöb Graze. On the ground floor and on the property there were blacksmithing workshops for fixing agricultural tools. The house had iron shutters and on its rooftop a weathervane was restored, in the form of horse representing the blacksmithing of horseshoes done here. Later on, this building housed the offices of the Military Advocate General.
