Background

The track is located in the Camden Town area of ​​London, a neighborhood that has a part in the UK’s musical heritage, mainly in alternative music. The track was inaugurated in November 2019 , with a sign indicating the band "Who" , a sign inaugurated in the presence of two members of the band (Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey).
Musicians are selected according to several categories: musical icon (e.g. Amy Winehouse ), musical innovators (Soul II Soul ) and leading bodies in the music industry.

The trail is run by The Music Walk of Fame when the artists are selected by a special committee made up of leading musicians and bodies associated with the music industry.
The association’s goal is to place about 20 signs each year.

About the signs

The signs are made of a pattern embedded in the ground. It is in the form of a record (or CD), headed by the name of the artist, the symbol of the association, the category by which the artist was chosen, and the year the sign was placed.
