Background

"The dog is man’s best friend" says the common saying, but dog owners who do not bother to clean their dog droppings from the city streets and gardens, cause suffering to the rest of the residents. The way to fight the phenomenon of dog droppings in the public space, is usually by imposing fines accompanied by information.
Signs on this subject are varied, some accompanied by humorous illustrations , or original sentences as the best creativity of the sign designers: "Dogs also have exits out of place ..." , "I did mine, now it’s your turn to collect" , , .
In 2021, the Tel Aviv Municipality launched an extensive campaign against the plague of dog owners who do not collect their dog feces, the campaign, accompanied by signs, most of which carried a blatant text: "This garden is shit" , "2% of dog owners shit our city" , texts that provoked criticism from some of the public.
